Postal shipments & deliveries

Shipping options and approximate rates

In Canada, orders will be shipped by Canada Post or another carrier. They will be shipped within 1-5 business days and depending on where you live they may take 1-5 business days or longer to arrive at their destination. Orders are shipped on business days only. We also do international deliveries. Postage in Canada is $14 for regular orders and is free for orders over $150 (certain conditions may apply).


Order tracking

When your order is shipped, we will send you the tracking number for your package.

Local deliveries and pickup boxes
If you live in Baie-des-Chaleurs in Gaspésie, we can offer local delivery service to your home or drop-off points. We also have two collection boxes (Saint-Siméon and Bonaventure) where you can come and collect your products. Wait for the confirmation message which will give you instructions to follow.

Shelf life and use

With great care, we manufacture products based on extracts of fresh plants from our gardens. They are halfway between cosmetics and local products. No synthetic ingredients are used for preservation .

It is difficult to assess the precise shelf life of a product. On average, we expect a shelf life of one and a half to two years for water-based formulas such as cosmetic creams, serums and gels.

To increase the shelf life and preserve the effectiveness of the active elements, we recommend that you store your products in a cool place, protected from light. During the hot season, if you do not consume them within 2 months of receipt, it would be better to keep them in the refrigerator. A lot number (Lot) and expiration date (Exp) are usually indicated on the product label. The expiration date indicates that it is best to use the product before this date. However, these are benchmarks. Sometimes products have a shorter lifespan than estimated, particularly if they are not stored or used properly. You should therefore also pay attention to the smell, color and texture, and discontinue use if you observe a change. It is normal for the color and smell to change slightly over time, but the smell should always remain pleasant. If you observe an alteration in the homogeneity of the product, shake it to restore the initial creamy texture.

We assume no responsibility for any damage arising from misuse of the products.

We assume no responsibility if products are spoiled before the expiration date due to improper storage.

Exchange policy

Exchange or refund

We aim for your complete satisfaction. If one of our products presents a defect or alteration, we will be happy to exchange it for an equivalent product or reimburse you. Within 30 days of receipt of your order, send us a photo of the product concerned to the following address: marguerite@kusalarose.com


Allergic reactions

Some products may not be suitable for your skin type. If this is the case, please let us know and send us a photo within the first 72 hours of using the product. If necessary, we will reimburse you for the cost of the product that caused the allergic reaction.  


Cancellation and modification of orders

We do not normally accept cancellations or changes to orders once they have been processed. If you have a question regarding your order, please contact us at the following address quoting your order number: marguerite@kusalarose.com


Items out of stock

If the product you want to purchase is out of stock, contact us at the following address: marguerite@kusalarose.com . We will be able to notify you as soon as the item is available again. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
