Purifying clay and Labrador tea mask

Once or twice a week, prepare the Purifying Clay and Labrador Tea Mask by mixing 1 tbsp. powder with a tiny amount of warm water. Apply to face and neck. Use the press-and-roll technique with your fingers. Make small circular motions on areas needing more exfoliation such as hyperpigmentation or deep wrinkles.

Leave the mask on sensitive skin for 5 minutes ; 10 for mixed complexion ; and 15 minutes for oily ones. If needed, add water to keep the mask moist. Rinse off with warm water.

To reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, use the Purifying clay mask and Labrador tea locally 2 to 4 times a week. Apply the paste on the problematic areas and gently exfoliate by making circular motions and let dry. Complete treatment by applying our Sea hippophea clarifying serum on problematic areas.

For optimal cleansing, we recommend starting the treatment with a herbal steam bath. For dry skin, complete the treatment with the Rose and sea hippophea night serum, the Wild rose oil serum or the Chamomile oil soothing serum.

Both kaolin and rhassoul clays help dislodge impurities and mattify the complexion. Pineapple and papaya enzymes help loosen the top layers of dead skin cells. This process naturally becomes less effective with age. Your skin may appear less radiant and wrinkled. Vitamin C can help to lighten the complexion. Algae and oats provide mucilage which restore elasticity.

Labrador tea is a North American native plant. It grows in bogs and areas dominated by black spruce in boreal forests. This plant has powerful antioxidants.

Algea is very rich in vitamins, minerals, fatty acids and antioxidants, which work in preventing important damage that can cause aging of the skin. Algea also relieves irritatiions to acne-prone skin.

The algae we use is harvested at low tide in the Gaspé region by our friends from Gaspésie Sauvage. Only fresh plants naturally detaching from rocky bottoms are selected and harvested.

The algea mix we use includes Laminaria longicruris, Palmaria palmata, Fucus vesiculosus, Agarum cribrosum and Chondrus crispus.
