Eye contour cream

After cleaning and toning the skin in the morning, apply a tiny amount of the Eye contour cream by gently taping around the eyes in an outward motion toward the outside of the face.

For mature skin, you may apply the Rose day cream as well. For additional protection in the winter, end by applying a small amount of our Wild rose oil serum before putting your makeup on.

This cream is made of the botanical extracts of more than 42 medicinal plants partly originating from Gaspesie, including :

- oil and butter of wild roses seed (rosehip), protecting the delicate skin around the eye ;

- wild burdock seed extract, a powerful antioxidant known to diminish the appearance of crow's feet ;

- gotu kola extracts, increasing collagen production ;

- acacia gum, which has a tensing effect ;

- ajurana oil and its key natural molecules for the stimulation of microcirculation, visibly reducing puffiness, dark circles blue pigmentation, wrinkles and fine lines under the eyes.

- Gaspesie bees products such as wax to create a protective barrier caring for the delicate skin around the eyes and raw honey which maintains skin hydration ;

- and silk powder's natural extracts, regenerating collagen and maintaining the skin elasticity.

Our Eye contour cream also contains other natural extracts tested in the laboratory and recognized for their anti-aging properties such as hyaluronic acids of various molecular weights.

Hyaluronic acid is one of the most effective moisturizing agents. It hydrates and tightens the skin tissue by filling intercellular spaces. Smaller molecules are better absorbed, which enhances their penetrating power. Hyaluronic acid fills up the wrinkles space, softens the skin and makes it more supple.

Used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries, gotu kola is known for its invigorating properties.

Studies suggest that the plant activates genes responsible for cell proliferation. The gotu kola is believed to increase the production of type 1 collagen, hence its active ingredients to help reduce wrinkles and scars as well as relieve eczema and psoriasis symptoms.

Our gotu kola extract originates from the flowers we harvest in our own organic and biodynamic gardens in Gaspesie.

Rich in polysaccharides (moisturizing sugars), polyphenols (natural antioxidants) and remineralizing trace elements (iodine, iron, magnesium, calcium), algae are known and widely used in cosmetics. They also contain beta-carotenes (natural antioxidants) with complexion lightening effects. Alginates are also present in brown algae (especially Kombu). They have anti-inflammatory properties (at the joints) and give a silky finish to the skin.

Algae is effective in fighting against skin aging. They stimulate blood microcirculation, promote firmness and elasticity of the skin. They promote weight loss. They help maintain hydration and soothe irritated or acne-prone skin.

Our active ingredient is made from seaweed harvested by hand in an eco-responsible manner in Gaspésie, Bas-St-Laurent and the Maritimes by Un Océan de Saveurs .

The seaweed mixture we use may include: Ulva sp. (sea lettuce) , Saccharina latissima (royal kombu) , Palmaria palmata(dulse).
